Dr. Sony Vijayan is a highly accomplished Corporate Lawyer & Legal Consultant, Certified Governance, Risk & Compliance Professional, and Academician with over three decades of expertise in corporate law, commercial laws, labour laws, medico-legal matters, maritime law, environmental law, IT & cyber law, privacy & data protection, media law & ethics, corporate governance, intellectual property rights (IPR), POSH compliance, and corporate legal compliance. She holds a Ph.D. in Law from Cochin University of Science & Technology and has an extensive track record in academics & collegiate administration, litigation practice, cobtract management, regulatory compliance and legal advisory services.
As the Founder & Director of GenBright Corporate Compliance and Training Solutions (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Vijayan provides expert legal advisory, compliance and training solutions, assisting businesses in navigating complex legal frameworks. She is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Ben & Sony Maritime Consultancy LL.P., offering marine consultancy services to entities in India and abroad.
